My computer is dying, and E is for Emerald

I’ve been wanting to post pretty pictures and my next letter on the ABC Along, but my computer hates me.  The screen works about 10% of the time, and only when the laptop is open at a 25 - 30 degree angle.  This makes it quite challenging to create a post with photos and such.  It also makes it hard to read and respond to emails.  Essentially it renders my laptop a very large and heavy paperweight or doorstop.  I’m posting this from the office where I have none of my pretty pictures or any of my usual stuff.  I also can’t check my home email from here either so I am relegated to checking it from my iPhone, which while useful is not ideal.

I’m also limited in my ability to read blogs and comment too.  I’m on a forced exile right now.  I’m sorry.

But E is for Emeralds.  My favorite color for many many years was green.  I still love green, but purple and yellow have entered into that favorite color mix.  Emeralds are simply beautiful.  I love the character they have, the range of color and how they lust to me look like they cannot be of this world.  They always remind me of Kryptonite.  I suppose that is due to my comic book affection of my youth, but seriously I think emeralds look other worldly.  I don’t own many, in fact I was going to photograph my only emerald ring for the E post.  It was a gift from my now hubby on I think our 2nd Christmas together.

Expect a bland at best blog for a few weeks.  If I’m a really good girl maybe I’ll be getting a replacement laptop for my birthday next month.
