Fun Turns to Tragedy!!!

The Skinny

I am a gun enthusiast trapped in the People's Republic of Maryland. My political affiliation is Independent, as the Ruling parties are both full of crap, and long ago stopped representing the common man. If the Libertarians weren't such freaks I would probably be one. I am a member of the Nation of Riflemen and damn proud of it. I once took an oath that I would support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. As far as I know I never broke that oath, and will continue to follow it. I am not Politically Correct and will NEVER be Politically Correct. If you need to know more, feel free, Ask.

Whats wrong here.

This is really what is wrong with America, we have gone so far in the direction of being PC that we now have to preface commercials with lawyerease, even then the commercial gets protested. They did the same thing to a Nissan commercial where they thought that the commercial promoted speeding... No one is able to do anything without offending some group or another. We have turned into a country of sissies. When are people going to realize that life is a contact sport, in a contact sport people get hurt from time to time... I am still waiting for the 28th amendment to the Bill of Rights, the one that states that you have the right not to be offended... We have taken this Politically Correct bullshit way to far...

The Playground

This is what you get when you simplify things down to what the nations really are, a bunch of kids playing in the Sand Box. One of the best post I have read in a long time... Seems to hit the nail on the head quite nicely. Maybe a bit oversimplified, but then in todays world simple may be just what works... Seems to have turned Qaddafi right around, he has been a good boy since we flew planes over his house a few years back. Since we kneecapped his kid brother he has been down right cooperative.

March 8th 1972

Was the real date that WWIII started. It started a few years earlier for the Israelis, but the 8th was the day that the west first got involved. Much like WWII it took America longer to realize that it was necessary to become involved in the war, much like WWII we were given hints that we would not be able to avoid the war, still we did not want to be involved. We were officially invited to the war on September 11 2001. Now there are an awful lot of people who have still not realized that America is at war and it will take another attack on U.S. soil to wake most of America up to the fact that there is a world war going on. There are still a lot people who do not think that we should be at war, they are resting on the work of our fore fathers who fought and died to protect their freedom to protest. They also have to remember that there are others out there who do not feel the same as the protesters and will eventually confront them once they reach their limit of tolerance for their treatment of our troops. The British got their wake up call a lot earlier than the U.S., they were reminded fairly frequently that the world was no longer what it was when our parents grew up. It has gotten a whole lot uglier and a whole lot less precise. We no longer have a country perpetrating violence upon another country. That was a type of aggression that was easily quantified and there was a visible solution. The new war is going to be an ugly drawn out thing, where there is no easy solution and no clearly visible enemy. This war will be long and drawn out. This war is being waged from the shadows using terror, this war targets the general civilian population at any time and any place. This war is by no means black and white, cut and dry. It will be hard fought and hard won with no clear victory in sight as the enemy breeds on hate and fear not just pure ambition and conquest. This enemy hides his hate behind religion and calls himself just. This enemy hides his face and lets his deeds speak for him. This enemy kills the innocent and calls himself righteous. This enemy never signed the Geneva Convention. The enemy deserves to be hunted in the night and killed without reservation or hesitation. Hiding behind religion and holy sites will only be tolerated so long, the end is near for that toleration. Trying to hide behind the UN will no longer work. We have figured out the game. You use the cease fire to rebuild your terrorist armies and then strike out anew. You will not be permitted that opportunity again, the politicians had their chance to come up with a peaceful resolution and failed because you do not want peace. You have reaped what you sowed. Here is someone telling it like it really is not how our media outlets would have you believe it is..

Flashlight of DOOM

Well the worst part of the Flashlight of Doom (colonoscopy) is the prep. you have to get what is know as the Fleet Prep Kit #1. Now when I asked for this little gem the male pharmacist said and I quote "I would tell you to have fun but it won't be", I thought to my self ohhh great... Well it starts a 24 hour day with a light meal and then lots of liquids. Not so bad, at four PM things go downhill. they tell you to mix the liquid portion of the kit with half a glass of water and drink. Gahhh this stuff is nasty, good thing they tell you to drink eight ounces of clear liquid after because I would have anyway just to get the taste out of my mouth (hack phewie seriously nasty). Well in just a few minutes the running to the bathroom starts, it continues until just around nine PM. At nine PM you get to take 4 tiny pills which did nothing to me until two AM, then another trip or two to the bathroom. Now I had heard people talk about the liquid part of the "cleansing" but not the pill part which was not too bad. Alas no one had ever mentioned part three.. The Suppository and we just won't go there... Upon arrival to the Flashlight of Doom HQ all was good. I had not filled out all my paperwork so I got that finished (err Liz did it) and they took me back almost immediately since another patient had canceled. Got my IV in and back to the room where the Flashlight resides. Got my oxygen tube in the nose and that is the end of it for me... Woke up in recovery with no memory of the event. The doctor evidently came in and gave me the results of the procedure but I did not remember. He told Liz and I together but later I had to ask Liz again, now those are some good drugs... I have just a minor case of Diverticulitis and should not have many problems in the future, no other major colon problems either. Woo Hoo...
