I am a gun enthusiast trapped in the People's Republic of Maryland. My political affiliation is Independent, as the Ruling parties are both full of crap, and long ago stopped representing the common man. If the Libertarians weren't such freaks I would probably be one. I am a member of the Nation of Riflemen and damn proud of it. I once took an oath that I would support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. As far as I know I never broke that oath, and will continue to follow it. I am not Politically Correct and will NEVER be Politically Correct. If you need to know more, feel free, Ask.

Gun Nut You are 96% of a gun nut!

With much regret I have decided that Boomershoot 06 is not to be for me  

I already sent Joe and Gene an email stating that I can’t make it so there is no going back now. 

Well looks like Boomershoot 07 planing is going to commence soon for me.  I have a couple of ideas already…

Well I saw this little blurb today. “Pizza tycoon building no-sin city”.  My only thought was that I was crossing this off of the list of interesting places that I want to visit before I turn 38. 

The ACLU is going to protest it and sue that is fine by me,  I don’t think the ACLU has a leg to stand on and should be thrown out on their ear.  What a private company and community wants to do is their own business.  Though here is where I get a bit miffed.

Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist said it will be up to the courts to decide the legalities of the plan. “The community has the right to provide a wholesome environment,“ he said. “If someone disagrees, they have the right to go to court and present facts before a judge.“

If someone disagrees they have the right to not go there.  Plain and simple.  They do not have the right to try and sue it out of existence.

I mean if you want to build a place where you feel at home and works with your ideals, fine by me just don’t try and make me live there…

People need to stop meddling. 
What right do you have to go say to someone how they should be living their lives Mr ACLU?

We fought a war to ensure that we have the ability to pursue life, liberty, and happiness.  People should really start to remember that.  Just because it is not the way you want it, does not make it a lawyer-able offense…

Well I have only a few more days to make up my mind about what I want to do…

On one hand I have Boomershoot coming up in less than 2 months and it is going to cost me about 1K to go (airfare, car rental, hotel, food, beer). 

On the other hand I have a 350Z to outfit for the autocrossing season which is going to cost me more than 1K (wheels, tires, sway bar, shocks, entry money, no beer).

Dammit I need to win the lottery so I can do both.  But until then I have to choose…
