I am a gun enthusiast trapped in the People's Republic of Maryland. My political affiliation is Independent, as the Ruling parties are both full of crap, and long ago stopped representing the common man. If the Libertarians weren't such freaks I would probably be one. I am a member of the Nation of Riflemen and damn proud of it. I once took an oath that I would support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. As far as I know I never broke that oath, and will continue to follow it. I am not Politically Correct and will NEVER be Politically Correct. If you need to know more, feel free, Ask.

Well last year before boomershoot I bought a new car and got it prepped for B Stock Autocross.  That took up a lot of my time and all of my spare change.  This year I just have to put in gas and new tires from time to time.  I will be going to do the Pro Solo series so I will be traveling a bit, but that is for another post…

So I already have gotten my hotel, rental car, and flight taken care of.  All and all the trip will probably only run me $700 total.  $500 for the car and hotel and an additional $200 or so for food and drinks.  Delta will graciously be transporting me from Maryland to Idaho and back, thanks to my frequent flyer miles.

Right now I have about 100 rounds loaded for boomershoot.  I am going to be taking barney as my main rifle and possibly my 6.5mm Swedish Mauser just for shits and giggles as well as for a bit of boomer hunting.  If Joe thinks a 9mm will set off boomers I will bring that also.  I have to get 175 grain Sierra Match Kings and probably more brass as my friend Ben still has my Lapua brass (as well as 200 rounds of black hills match) from the last boomershoot. 

I put the check in the mail for Gene Econ’s precision rifle class on Thursday, and was the last one accepted before he started the waiting list, so everything is on track for Boomershoot 2007.

I can’t wait for the end of april…
