I changed my voter registration from Independent to Democrat today. I had no other choice…
You see I live in The Peoples Republic of Maryland. Yea, I know I need to do something about that but for now I have to live with it.
The state has been gerrymandered for the last 50 years so the Republicans are weak and ineffectual. As an Independent I had no say whatsoever in the political process in Maryland. So now I have to go out and use pages out of the progressive playbook and start attacking the system from the inside.
A few years ago we managed to get a few of the gun grabbers voted out. Well now it is time for us to start taking matters into our own hands. So being registered as a “spit” democrat I can vote in the primaries. I have seen a lot of others doing the same thing.
Time to start working on them from the inside..
Went to Bass Pro near me last night to see about ordering a Lefty shotgun. When I got there I saw that they had a pile of Colt carbines, 16 to be exact and 4 crappy bushmasters.
I immediately texted my buddy that they had Evil Black Rifles in stock. I had already grabbed myself a ticket as that was the only way that I was going to be able to ask about a shotgun. Once he responded back that he was interested I grabbed him one too even though he would not be there for an hour or so. Now this was around 4:30. After my buddy dropped his wife off at home he arrived at 6:30 or so. There are now 12 Colts and 4 crappy bushmasters.
The only thing keeping those AR-15s there was the fact that bass pro only had 3 people there to oversee the paperwork (one was just doing firearm pickups). By the time my buddy got his hands on his there were 10 left. By the time I had a chance to put a request in to get a shotgun on order there were 9 left. In the 4 hours that I was there 90% of the guns being sold were AR-15s, a stray shotgun or two and maybe a pistol. If they had 4 people just doing paperwork those guns would probably would have all been gone before I finally finished giving Bass Pro my info for a call back on the shotgun order.
Oh, Bass pro was also selling them at list price.
So Barack “Unicorn Farts and Fairy Dust” Obama gave a nice flowery speech today talking about all the good things he is going to give people and how he won’t cut anything in order to make it all happen…
So far this year .gov is spending around 5 billion a day in deficit spending. So in the first 3 months of FY2013 (started on Oct 1 2012) we have spent 460 Billion dollars of money we don’t have and don’t have a way to get other than borrowing. At some point very soon our borrowing limits will get nipped in the bud.
We do have enough money coming into the treasury to pay the interest on the debt, the military, SoSo Security and a few other things. Others will have to be cut. A lot of others.
Frankly we have tons of programs that can and should be cut/gutted/ended and doing so would probably put the country back in the black without having to raise taxes.
As one of the 48% that actually pay taxes to the government every year I can’t wait for the government to be forced to gut a whole bunch of government programs/departments.
I am tired of the piss poor return on my investments in .gov
Well it seems that New York state is about to get the shiv in the kidney. The favorite move of the gun grabbers and crooked politicians (sorry for the redundancy) has happened again. Shoveling a shit bill through a body of government late at night. A bill that does nothing to address the gun violence problem.
The Peoples Republic of Maryland will be trying this same tactic as soon as they can with good old Martin O’Malley trying the same trick that Andrew *spit* Cuomo just pulled. You see Andrew and Martin seem to favor themselves as good Presidential Material in 2016, so they are going to pull out all the stops to make them look all presidential to the Tards.
I have also seen that they are trying to pull this crap over in Virginia also but the VCDL is much better organized it seems than the NY gunnies and they are all over it like and can muster lots of people on a short notice.
I hope that MSI in Maryland is as on top of thing as VCDL is in Virginia. I guess it is time to get my comfortable shoes ready as it seems that I will be making the trip to Annapolis this legislative session. I can’t stand Maryland and it high taxes, anti-business, political corruption as it is, it may be time to leave the state shortly.
It seems that more and more of the coastal blue states are turning into little Totalitarian states.
Last american leaving the state, Please grab the flag…
It seems Jeff over at Alphecca has run aground on the rocky shoals of the Obama economy.
For my two readers out there, please post up something similar. If you have the extra coins laying around hit Jeff’s paypal link.
I have long counted Jeff as a friend even though we have never met and have only traded a few emails, I have long been hitting up Jeff’s site for his Gun News roundup and appreciate that after 11 years he still puts up daily posts unlike me.
Well I find it highly amusing that all the progressives are whining about how their paychecks have shrunk after the first of the year….
You voted for that turd, now Suck It…
I still don’t know how much my check will shrink as my company moved to once a month pay checks. I am sure it will suck, but I am prepared for it as I live below my means.
I have watched my taxes go up year after year for the last 15 years. Every year when I make more the Social Security wage base has gone up so I end up paying more taxes.
The shame of it all is that there will be no Social Security benefits for me when I retire. So for my entire working life the government has been stealing my money at the point of a gun…
Well I got my second deer this year on the first day of the year.
A nice eight point buck, once again taken by a crossbow. This was the second deer this year that I have gotten that ended up in a creek.
I have long had a tumultuous relationship with water. I seem to fall into any river or lake where falling in is a possibility. Have been doing it since I was a boy scout years ago…
I hope to have enough time to get a couple more this year. My property owner wants me to get a whole bunch more but we shall see.
